Editorial Analysis
GOTS certifies that a textile is made from organic fibers (minimum 70% or 95% depending on label) and processed using environmentally and socially responsible methods. Full supply chain auditing is required. Important caveat: GOTS does not exclude wool or silk — it certifies 'organic' versions of these animal fibers. A GOTS label does not mean vegan. Check the specific fiber content.
